5 Things We Learned... Felipe Nuno
I met Felipe Nuno in 2013 at a dinner with mutual friends. I had just seen a nude dance performance by Eddie Peake - it was excellent - and as I walked to dinner, I remember wondering if it was rude to launch into a recap of the performance. Was this the right crowd? Did I need to buy everyone a drink first?
Thankfully, the dinner guests included Felipe and from the start I found a kindred creative spirit who was more than willing to chat about art, design, theatre, and yes... nudity.

Here are 5 Things We Learned about Felipe.
What made you...you?
I think all the joy and suffering I have had in my life made me what I am. Especially the things that I'm ashamed of, the ones I try to hide. These things they really make me.... me! And each day, I'm more and more open to show them and to accept them.
When are you happiest?
When I can be myself, when I'm close to nature - especially to the beach (where I live now) - when I'm surfing, when I'm eating ice cream with my friends, and when I have fast internet.
Would you rather have a muse or be a muse?
I prefer being a muse. I like to be admired. Haha.
Who do you admire?
I admire people that trust themselves and share what they've brought to the world. Some people I admire (include) David Lynch because of his uniqueness, Anitta because of her intelligence that goes beyond the intellectual intelligence that the world believes is important, Artacho Jurado because of his talent, Hilma Af Klint because of her surrender that resulted in those incredible paintings, Marcelo Rosenbaum because of his talent and engagement with the people and the history of Brazil, Osho, because of his point of view about life, Felipe Morozini because of his creativity, Josef Müller-Brockmann because of the aesthetics of his work, my friends, family, and my spiritual teacher Sri Prem Baba that show me every single day how to be a better human.
What is important?
Honesty. Self-Responsibility. Kindness. Dedication. Service. Beauty. Love.
