London Design Festival x Lisa King

Montcalm East hotel celebrated the London Design Festival with a three month takeover from East London artist, Lisa King. Curated by Culture A, the hanging installation entitled ‘The Tallest Flower’ was comprised of 22 large scale printed silk hangings spanned the hotel’s front facade alongside video projections, workshops and a pop-up retail space inside. The film and prints were created in collaboration with Lisa’s East London community making Montcalm East makes the perfect setting in which to showcase them. 

Culture A sourced and managed this collaboration for Montcalm East. They worked closely with Lisa King on the design, art direction, production, and installation of ‘The Tallest Flower’ as well as the pop-retail space inside.
