What made you...you?
Friendships, my past and present collaborations, constant curiosity, being born behind the iron curtain.
When are you happiest?
Cooking and feeding people. If not for visual art and publishing, I would probably end up having a little eating establishment somewhere cute.
Would you rather have a muse or be a muse?
Absolutely be a muse! But I’m thinking more Irène Jacob in Kieślowski’s movies rather than all the neoclassical entourage.
Who do you admire?
Our female ancestors, and their stories of resilience and solidarity.
What is important?
Rest. I am very inspired by the approach of Tricia Hersey seeing rest as form of resistance against the oppressive system.
